The Box He Built

Stay between the lines

Between his gnashing teeth

The mouth that dictates time spent

And where I walk my feet

Stay inside the box he built

Stay quiet and sit still

Look pretty, but not to much

Lest another wants his fill

Apparently that's my fault

As if I could decide

How a man will feel about me

The lust I will provide

Stay between his finger tips

And never ask for more

He’ll give you everything you need

Of that you can be sure

Everything he thinks you want

But nothing that you do

You shouldn't ask for more than that

Woman! How fucking dare you

Push your needs deep inside

Never let them out

A quiet woman is required

A woman shouldn't shout

How dare you want to leave the kitchen

Or share time with a friend

The man you wed has become

Your start and now your end

Pick his clothes up

Make him dinner

Wipe his ass and make his bed

And it doesn't matter how you feel

When he wants it, give him head

Especially if it is an occasion

An occasion that is grand

Or maybe he just wants to

Make use of a woman's hand

Or maybe he brought a gift

It's your birthday after all

He asked in advance what you wanted

Now it's your time to fall

To your knees to repay

The kindness he has shown

Husband makes demands

And now theres dick that must be blown

So you'll suck it like a good girl

Until you've had enough

And the first time you say no

It may be a little tough

The look upon his face

When you dare to betray

Don't fall victim to the mentality

Or the shit that's been ingrained

All your life the world has said

Be quiet hold your tongue

Girls are told they should be small

From ages very young

You can't vote, can't get a job

Stay at home with the baby

And if you fuck him every night

Than maybe girl, just maybe

Hell let you sit beside him

While he boasts to his friends

How hot you are, how quiet you are

How your manner never offends

You do your duty as a wife

And never make him mad

His subservient little woman

A decoration to be had

The men will stare in shock

When you begin to speak

They won't believe it when they see

That women are not weak

We are the stronger sex

Of that I have no doubt

They may pay you more at work

But can you push a baby out

And then get up the next day

To carry on with life

The woman knows there is more

Than being your hot little wife

Don't you dare reduce me

To your piece of arm candy

Or the vessel that you try to fill

When your feeling randy

Don't wake me on a wednesday

With news of a little pill

And ask me to take my clothes off

So you can have your fill

I will say no and that is all

It's the last thing that I will say

I'm not your quiet woman now

Watch me turn and walk away

There is a man out there who

Will love all of my noise

And encourage me to speak up

Yes, he’ll talk to all the boys

But it will be with pride and love

For all I do and am

He’ll tell them how Im wild and free

He loves me because he can

Not for the things I do for him

Or how quietly I agree

He will love me because Im wonderful

He will love me because Im me
